St Vincent de Paul Society

Our Mission

The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

Our Vision

The St Vincent de Paul Society aspires to be recognized as a caring Catholic charity offering “a hand” to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope, and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny. We serve in hope by feeding the homeless daily, supplying monthly food parcels to destitute families, supporting institutions for orphaned and abandoned children an institution for women in crisis, as well as outreach programmes to reach the poor and underprivileged.

Do you have a passion or calling to be part of St Vincent de Paul? Attend the next meeting and talk to the members to see where you can help or be part of the conference. We meet twice a month on Monday evenings.
